I've been saying Daiwa needs a reel between the Advantage (160) and the Fuego/Sol (250) besides the Viento. And here it is! The Daiwa Aggrest

Definately going on my wish list.

The new Revo's look sick, I definately need to try one now!

Oh, and can't forget Shimano's new Stradic. Very impressive.

If you like the REVO STX - and it is a terrific reel - check the Pflueger Patriarch. The two are VERY similiar, actually produced it the same plant in Korea with many interchangable parts. I've used both and both are very similiar in performance. I personally prefer the Patriarch for it's finish and price (about $30 cheaper than the comparable REVO STX). I know many who prefer the REVO - due to the Abu Garcia name meaning quality, craftsmanship, and durability. Either is a terrific choice, give them a try and let us know which one you prefer.

Whoops, that's the new Premier, not an STX. The premier is also now matched in price to the Skeet Reese, unless the skeet went up (but it should actually go down some).

the STX looks pretty much the same except a swept handle. They also upgrades the brakes on most of their reels, including adding dual brakes to some.
