Torpedo
Got two torpedos tonight while stocking up (stupid bait monkey again). What is the most productive way of fishing them. Probably not the best idea to try two new lures in a tourney this and a manns minus 1. All help for both highly aprecciated. Thanks

Stop/start, straight retrieve, work it like a popper-let the fish tell you what they want. Outstanding topwater bait.

Great bait, caught lots of fish on it. I especially like the bulfrog pattern.

Chris,
I throw it out and let the rings disappear and gently pull it about 8-12 inches and let it rest, I dont work it near as aggressive as I do the PopR and not a steady retrieve like the spook, but those options change from day to day, experiment with it, you can't fish it too slow, but you can fish it way to fast, as with any topwater..good luck with it, check those crappy hooks that come with it, they may not be sticky, sharpen them if needed |
