Got milk, bread, eggs, scrapple, bacon, apple pie, I'm good for a few days. We're only supposed to get 3", unlike Boston which may get THREE FEET. Home Depot is probably all sold out of snow blowers up there.

I hope any of this group in the area expecting to get hit with this storm will be safe and warm. Will keep all in my prayers. It has to be a scary situation.

She's a Nor'eastah alright!! Maybe two feet or more expected. Less out here on the Cape but we'll be ok.
Spoke a little soon. Tree just fell on the house. Bounced off the roof of the room I was sitting in as I posted the above. Pictures coming tomorrow. Last edited by 3dkicker; 02-08-13 at 09:43 PM. |

Better pics tomorrow. Wind is blowing. Snow/rain/sleet coming down. Not getting as much as further inland. Cape usually doesn't get as much as Boston to Springfield.

Here's a better view of the tree on the house. Left yesterday after spending two days without heat except for the one fireplace. House was 40 degrees on Sun. morning. 60-70% were still without power when I left. Looks like Conn got hit with the most snow which ranged from 24-36" depending on where you were.

I'm getting by. Tough two weeks. Was sitting in the room with the windows but on the other side. Tree fell right on that room but limbs pushed it left and it ended up on the corner with the upper half of the tree and the limbs on roof of garage. I was very fortunate.......
