Default oh boy here we go

this is pic's of a mean thunder storm that hit our area two nights ago.lighting during the thunder storm came in and well for the lack of a better term "cooked" the 3 house phones-blowing one cordless base across the room- it also came in on the dsl line that runs 200 feet under ground and melted it all into one big fused lump of plastic and wire..ew STINKY...we got nearly 3" or rain in that one storm..

i was out playing with the new camera..

we had some bad lighting two nights ago and pretty sure the lighting hit, went through the surge protector, and fried one of my USB ports. haha great. That storm had some very intense lighting. That sucks about the phones, I'm sure it was crazy when the cordless shot across the room lol

During hte middle of the florida trip, we got caught out on lake kissimmee by a very severe thunderstorm. I shot a little video of it coming in. There were about 5 foot swells on the lake.

Man, we don't have that bad of luck even down here being in the lightning capital of the world. Every summer day you can count on a thunderstorm, some worse than others.

How to capture fireworks or lightning bolts, use a camera with bulb setting on a sturdy tripod and lock your shutter open until you get how many different burst of fireworks, or lightning bolts in your picture.

Zooker, I am almost afraid to see you with a new camera, lord knows what you'll be posting.Ivan
