Sometimes I bite the line, make like a grating motion to serate through the braid. If its a well used jig, I bind the line on the spool and cast hard. it will snap a jig off clean as a whistle. When I remember them, I use a pair of diagonal wire cutters. Buy a good set of Klein, or something comparable,Craftsman won't cut it for long. P N J

I do things the old fashion way, a sharp knife. occasionally that sharp knife gets misplaced and I have to do the job with a dull knife, now thats alot of work.

titanium bladed scissors work every time, clean as can be. They also were 5 dollars in the Wal-Mart sewing department.

After I lost my Culprit Braid Blades, I bought a pair of Fiskar's Kids Scissors at Wal-Mart for $2. They're identical, so I think Culprit uses Fiskar's as their supplier.

Pair of browning's pliers, the 50 dollar ones at BPS, cuts through it better than a hot knife and butter
