When under stress of playing a fish, the parabolic forms a parabolic curve from the tip of the rod all the way back to the butt of the rod, thus giving you a better feel of the fish. Carpy

I've seen pictures of the Carrot Stik and they look pretty interesting. It's very interesting to read about how they are made.

For all of you that like Airrus Rods than take an look at E21fishing I used to fish nothing but Airrus rods but when Ken left and Castaway took over the company has gone down hill. E21 rods are great rods I have not used them but have played with them before I went with Setyr.

Did you know it takes 4 lbs of carrots to make 1 rod ? the fibers from the carrots are extrated to contruct the rod. Metamucil, citrucel, fibercon are products of a dietary fiber supplement. Will we see a new dietary fiber rod in the works, or will it be a split gripped split pea fibered frog rod, or a red kidney bean fibered crankbait rod ? If you were waxing your new element 21 rod, would that be considered as caressing your carrot ? The guides look wimpy and did you read the testimonys ? The deal with the reel seat needing shimming for a Shimano reel doesn't sit well with me on a $150.00 rod.I am gonna hold out for that raspberry fibered rattle trap rod.By then, they will have it down to a science, good guides and all. You anit paying attention. They took 4 lbs of carrots, cooked them down and separated the fiber from the carrots to construct the rod.
If you can use carrots, you can use just about any other vegetable,or fruit to make fishing rods. Now that you say that we might see a Metamucil , citrucil, fishing rod. BTW , all of the ones I listed in this post, are very high in fiber, compared to other alternatives that may not be. Why ?Who the hell knows why I took the time to look them up, its winter.I can post the fiber chart if you would like ? P N J |
