Never tried and not willing to share all the crazy things I've tried. If you don't give it a shot who knows I might. You never know til you try. Wife found some motor oil and chartruse worms a few weeks back and after she put two nice fish in the boat (3+), I had to borrow a couple to catch up, which I did. Have not even seen that worm color in a long time.

Something similiar-skein for trout. Around here if you use it, once the smell dispurses the trout are drawn like magic. Your fish oil might work on a slow presentation.

Interesting idea. Don't know how well it would last on plastics. Maybe if you broke them in the bag the smell or oil might last a little while.

Sounds like it may be good if you poke a hole in one and put it in a tube.

In a tube lure, you'll probably need to insert it after placing two tiny holes in it, to allow for flow. Definitely worth a try....

I'd say it's worth a shot. You can also buy fish oil in a bottle, just make sure you don't get the lemon flavored one!

I've used them and they work well. To me, they smell just like most bait scents

Or maybe break open a few and pour em into your bag of favorite plastics.

Alka-seltzer in a tube lure. Injected with lock jaw and have also used sponge soaked in craw oil in a magnum flipping tube.
All worked very well. Oh and I almost forgot nitecrawler on the tube jig head up inside the tube. That was a 60 fish plus day on the Potomac one cold March day. Those fish oil pills that come from Omega Protiens are a sure death for the Cheasapeke Bay BTW.. I boycott the product ....but that will have to wait for another rant. Capt Mike
