Woody, Star Point is a wonderful place. The lake and weather was not kind to us. We simply could not hide from the howling wind and on Sat. the temp only got up to about 50 degrees and with the winds it was cold.

The resort was awesome it was so good that we are thinking about going back in Oct and hope you can join us

The Lodge that we all were going to stay was perfect for a get togather

Has for the fishing, well it sucked--1 fish in about 12 hrs of fishing. I now know what Bryce was talking about. 6-8 ft. high water, wind blowing like crazy. Fishing was not good.

I'm glad to hear about how well you enjoyed your stay at Star Point and the Lodge. You know, maybe we could plan another get together later this year.

I think that Curado was planning on heading to Missouri around that time and it sounded like Daniel and Louann might be interested as well. If it all works out you all are welcome to head this way and I can host one, I know it's not exactly in a central location but we do have some great lakes to choose from.

Woody that place was awesome. If anyone else gets an itchin' to go to Dale Hollow check that place out. Woody thank you for finding that place. It was well worth every penny.

Adam...I agree, the resort is great. The room, dock, and staff were really great. My only complaint was the lake itself, and you take your chances with that stuff. I will definitely go back, and hopefully have better luck next time.
