Default 7 Days of grilled food...give or take..

So I talked to zooker a couple weeks ago about my dilemma. Dilemma was, I needed new cooking grates for my Brinkmann.
So 61 bucks later, 2 cooking grates and a pair of hinge pins show up on my deck..
New problem! The freakin tent worms were crawling all over my grill at that time, as well as dropping off the ceiling above the grill .
I told my story to brother zooker....I cried.....HE cried.....didn't fix the problem.
The guvmint finally decided to spray, basically eradicating the tent worms.
So today, I decided to eat grilled food every day for the next week or so.
Pretty sure I have the grand finale planned out, but I'm not tellin.

For some reason, my memory card reader isn't working, so no pics.

Tonight's menu consists of Char Crusted NY Strip, Bush's, Pillsbury Honey Butter biscuits and fried potatoes w/onion, heavily seasoned with pepper/salt/Frank's Red Hot Chile N' Lime.
I need to go get dessert!

I support 7 days of grilling wholeheartedly!

You must have had quite the tent worm infestation.

I'll pass on those nasty worms lol. Might be able to get a picture loaded later. I'm in the process of switching PCs. I'm guessin that somehow, that messed up my card reader. Doesn't make sense, but it worked fine until yesterday.
The tent worms were the worst I've ever seen.
It got so bad, I'd walk out my door and all I could smell was the worms and their crap. They were all over my deck, house and grill.
I actually lost my internet one day. Couldn't figure out what was goin on, and it finally hit me.
Headed up on the roof. There were so many tent worms on the internet dish, they drug it off kilter enough to miss the satellite.

you're slightly ahead of me then. I use mine probably 2-3 time a week during the warmer months and like once a week once it gets 30 degrees or colder

I don't even know how often I use mine. When I feel like it I use it. In fact, I'm more likely to fire it up in winter than I am in summer. Cold I can deal with, 90+ temps and high humidity makes it a lot easier to talk myself into staying in the ac and fireing up the crock pot.

as i suggested to mallen just throw a hand full of brickettes on the gril and light them. the worms will leave or be fried...

i feel your pain bro stick.. i am geting to the point where i may not fire the grill up till 7-8 pm just to avoid the heat.-i sweat like a pig cooking that sandwhichs last night...

bad part of it is my central air is 5 feet from the grill and the wind was blowing right at it.i was getting cussed but good this morning about it too...

I think I've lost 20 pound in water I was retaining just diggin hole outside the past few days.

And if you're situation is the same as mine, if you didn't get cussed for that, you'd be cussed for something else.

Can't believe the troubles I've had posting pics lately, but it's working for now.
This was Saturday's dinner. And Sunday's lunch...and Monday's dinner finished it off

Looks like I'm gonna actually get caught up!
Dinner for Tuesday and Wednesday was Johnsonville Beer Brats, loaded with aged sharp cheddar, vidalia onion and mustard on Aunt Millies Honey hot dog buns. I did change it up a bit Wednesday, using French's Horseradish Mustard

Ok, so the tourney was cancelled. Fire up that grill!

Not a bad cut of meat for $4.88#
4 minutes per side on the griddle and grill.
Mallenbeans and brocolli mac and cheese to fill out the plate.
My tummy hurts.....
