Zooker's spinnerbait preference?
Been meanin to do this for quite some time, but never got around to it.
As some of you know, I love twistin up my own spinnerbaits. I been wantin to make one in his honor, but don't know what kind or type he threw. If any of you could (and I know you can!) give me any info I would greatly appreciate it. If you know brand/model that'd be great. If all you know is skirt color, blade style/set-up, that'd be great too. Any info would be awesome and I'd be extremely happy to send em out to everyone who wants one. Thanks guys!

The Zookenstein has been top secret for years. There have never been any pictures of one before, and only a few select members of this board actually own one.
I've been lucky enough to see one in person. But I think we need to try our best to keep it top secret, that's how Zook would want it. Zooker made a lot of baits, especially spinnerbaits, and not all of them are zookensteins. BB

I saw at least 3 different models, they all shared certain characteristics, but there were differences.

The Rules of the Zookerstein.
1st RULE: You do not post pics of the Zookerstein. 2nd RULE: You DO NOT post pics of the Zookerstein. 3rd RULE: If someone says "post a pic" or asks information about it then the Stein is over. 4th RULE: Only two guys may have pics of a Stein at a time. 5th RULE: Only one Stein can be fished at a time. 6th RULE: No shirts, no shoes when using a Stein. 7th RULE: Steins will go on as long as they have to. 8th RULE: If this is your first post about a Stein, you HAVE to respect the Stein. |

got it danny. will send them later. gotta respect the rules, lol. no posting these after you recieve them cmorg and danny. this is very sacric to me. i will have a couple at the may event at WHEELER/WILSON. i am serious about this ok? we joke some..but these baits are never gonna hit water. at least not mine.they have their own special box too. along with the hand painted baits he left me. they too will never get wet, unless it is to wash them and replace back in the box. i know he wouldn't mind me showing you what they look like, but like i said, they ARE special to me.

definately a discussion face to face. I owned 2- one fell to the stick marsh, the other now sits on my dresser, never to see water again. He was offered money for the Stein and turned it down,(not pocket change, big dollars) there are 1-2 members who were involved in the creation of the Stein, they don't give out the info either.
Eventually, I would like to see the Stein produced by some company, but I would like to see the check or royalties for it go to the family. If that never happens I am glad to own the one I have.
