Exclamation Illegal Fishing???

I herd that people use soap on their baits to attract fish, I have also herd that it is illegal.... is it??

I have heard of preparation H also...

Seriously..

and that gold fish are illegal to use as bait because... because they are just so good!....

Spray some WD40 on it..made from fish oil.
Tell them you were cleaning the bait because it had dirt on it.

lol, not the case. they're actually illegal because they are a non-native species that tends to reproduce too fast.

I have heard (NOT "HERD") of people using a bar of P & G soap (No relation to P & J) as bait to fish for huge 70+lb Flatheads & Blue cats In one of the reservoirs in southeast Kansas.

jb if the soap floats it wouldnt be good catfish bait bc theyre bottom feeders and rarely come to the surface

I know it was a joke!

Ironically my buddy was out with me yesterday talking about how he works with someone that swears by the WD 40 method. I had to come back and check this thread out!

I think on Wednesday I am going to go by some feeder goldfish, some WD 40, and soap (should I get one on a rope?).. Load those goldfish up good and throw them out there with a medium bobber..

go for the preparation H and just say some was left on your finger after applying it to yourself. If they ask to see proof that you need it run!
