Default Javelin bass boat

Does Javelin manufacture their own boat or is made by someone else?
Thanks, Joe

Zooker,

I found a 2001 18 Venom DC with a 115 Johnson 2 stroke, boat seems to be fully loaded, it comes with a hamby, guest 2 bank charger, Zercom , bow fish finder ,cover and full guage package. Interior is in great condition. They are asking 9500.00 for it, I hesitate only because I not sure about the engine. Do you know if this engine has a good reputation or is it junk?

115 johnny seems under powered for that boat.. johnson's are a decent moter.. most have 150 horse for that size of boat..the 2001 jav are some of the best production perfourmance hulls ever built..

pretty sure it's got enough ponies to push my big a$$ across the water. I'm not in a hurry to get any where, just want to get there safely. Gonna have the dealer fire it up for me and do a few test, unfortunately its 10 degrees here with snow, the resevoirs are iced so a test ride is out of the question.
