What we did today.
Decent day weather wise. They predicted 40 and partly to mostly sunny. Sun never came out, and I'd be surprised if it made it up to 35, but it was above freezing, with not a lot of wind so it was still pretty nice out. (you know, compared to recent weather around here)
But instead of ice fishing, we spent the day working on our 1965 Rustang... er.. I mean... oh wait, I did mean RUSTang. We finally got it on the rotisserie and flipped up so my dad could do some welding and sandblasting on the bottom. But first... whoever had worked on it before we owned it thought it would be a good idea to put some tar (or some tar-like substance) down and them put new sheet metal over it... (Why are people so stupid?) Anyways, so we have to take a blowtorch and a putty knife and scrape all this crap off. then clean it up with laquer thinner. Here's some pics of the car. At least I think it's a car... So that's how my dad and I spent our day: blowtorching, scraping, cleaning, sandblasting, welding, and grinding, lots of grinding (from when my dad tried to weld upside down before we had it on the rotisserie, lol) BB

I miss my 1965 Mustang. My Dad and I got into them for awhile. Mine was just a fix-up, but my Dad's 1966 was a full restore - absolutely beautiful.

Looking like you are doing it RIGHT anthony. Just a little suggestion, instead of putting back the original gas tank, get yourself a feul cell. These cars have a history of exploding on inpact with the drop in tanks originally used. Can't wait to see it after you are finished with it. Decide on a color yet?
