Default Good Bass fishing in the Williamsburg, VA area?

Hey guys! I'm all settled in at school now, and I brought my gear with me, so I wanna see if I can get out one of these weekends to do some fishing before it gets too cold.

I go to school at William and Mary in Williamsburg, VA. Does anyone know of a decent spot near here? I'm not looking for anything too particular, just somewhere I can catch some decent fish!

Let me know, thanks
-John

I'm sure there are some good ponds to fish in the areas around you in the neighborhoods. See if some of the local students fish. If you want to fish tidal water you have the James and Chick. rivers. On Chick. Lake you can rent a boat at Ed Allens. I would have sent you to Fishing ProTech and Lin Bell but I think he's closed his shop due to his divorce. He would have helped you find some places to fish.
