Whoo!!! Finally got a truck!

I am so excited. We've been looking for a truck for me for 4-5 months. It's been hard to find something that both me and my dad agree on.

To make a long story short, we wanted a mid-size truck. No foreign trucks, Extended cab, decent miles, and not beige, maroon, or white.

So, last saturday my dad found an 04 Colorado that while at a dealership, was hit by or driven into something. The front bumper is dented and the palstic bumber (under the metal one) is crushed. Both airbags went off, and one of the front wheels was dented (the tire was punctured as well).

Oh, did I mention it's Yellow!

You can see some of the damage here.

We're going to pick it up Saturday, the only bad thing is it's 3 hours away in MI. The guy we bought it from got it at an auction.

that thing is still pretty sweet... get to go through that process in a 2 years

... might just put money into the truck in the back yard with no engine.... engine and tranny in garage need to be fixed (engine, tranny already is).... 83 chevy that we dropped... blue

It's been christened already with a bump and bruise, so maybe you won't have anymore. Nice truck dude, just turn the radio down in residential areas, hahahahaha.

Thats one of those trucks...its already got two strikes against it.

1.) Be wary of auctions

2.) Be wary of vehicles that have been in an accident.

Thing is, in yalls case I think if it has problems yall are good enough with car care to fix it. So for you its a deal. But a lot of lemons are dealt at auction as I'm sure yall know. Plus it doesnt look like it was too terrible of an accident.

I think at the auction place said if was damage at the dealership.
