Hey everybody, I want to share some good news with everyone. Louann is 8 weeks pregnant with our first baby, due October 29th. We're extremely excited, and nervous at the same time. Everything checked out great; the baby has a good heartbeat, good size, etc etc...
Like any soon-to-be dad, I'm showing everybody the ultrasound pictures, so I'm going to load them onto my photo album here shortly. Wish us luck, and keep us in your prayers.

congrats sipp. as i posted before my wife is also pregnant with our first she is 12 weeks along and we got to see the first ultra sound last week and it was flopping like a little fish. it was perty neat. 3 or 4 more weeks till we find out what the sex is (im sure bama will have somthing to say about that statement.) any way we decided that its gonna be a surprise whether we wait or find out in 3 weeks. have you decided if youre gonna find out early.

nope ryan...ain't gonna TOUCH that one pal. if you want the kid having sex, umm that is your problem. hahahahahahahaha. kidding buddy. i hope that your wife is doing all she can to cause you joy with your newborn soon to be. i envy all you folks. lisa and i couldn't have children, i didn't have enough "lil fellas" swimming, and her kidney problem just wouldn't let us. so the good lord told us that all of the folks we have as friends are having kids for us. and i mean this.......we love the fact that ya'll are having kids. now after saying that, we will spoil em for ya and return em to ya. let you deal with the whippings and so forth. my (me personally now) job is to teach the little tikes dirty little tricks. harmless and really fun things. we have had the joy of being the "cool" aunt and uncle for 17 neciecs and nephews . we also have 6 and 1 on the way great necies and nephews. so you see we have kids,lmao. they come and stay with us, we let em stay up all night, feed em candy, cokes and such. then they go home and tell their mom and pop that they should be more like their aunt lisa and uncle john,hahahaha. so bring the little uns to us, we'll treat em like they were our own. and send em back with bad habits like grandma and grandpa. hahahahahahahahaha

We'll want to find out what we're having. Maybe for the second one, but this one we want to know.

Congrats to you MB. And to all the other soon to be dads. I'll be praying it goes like my first. It went so quick and easy (comparatively speaking from stories I've heard. And of course it was easy for me.) I'd barely had time to put those stupid shoe covers on before the doc was handing me the scissors to cut the cord. We had a healthy, almost 10 lb girl. My daughter's like me, wants to get there get it done and on to the next project.

My son was a different story. He was more like his mama and had to make things complicated.

Congrats to you and your wife. How long did it take for you to tell everyone? my wife and I found out that we are going to have our first child. she is due october 4, which is three days before my b-day and five days after hers. we are very excited! we dont know what to expect, but we're excited. we haven't has an ultra sound done yet,but I will post pics when we do. We are goin to the doctors ofice at the end of the month for a check-up, and to hear the babys heart beat.

congrats you guys. but that means at least 2 pregnant women at the get together. we are about 11 weeks along now and just the other day we got to see our baby for the first time via ultra sound. the baby had the hiccups which was really funny to watch. we are the same way daniel, we want to know for sure what this one is but if there is another to come then we may be willing to be surprised.
