Shakey Head
I want to try out some shakey head methods. Can you all suggest a good jighead to use? Something with the long shank and will hold the bait up on the jighead well.

My favorite is like the shaky SRAK but not exactly. It has a flat front so it stands up, and then it also has the screw on holder. It is like the screwed up jighead but not quite the same. I will look at BPS next time and try to find them again.
Also, normally I do not like Berkley Gulp stuff, but their shaky worm in 5" in watermelon color has been dynamite for me this year. Pretty much fish this the slower the better. |

i think the keeper makes it much easier to rig.the jig also helps by not spiraling on the way down if you rig it perfectly straight.the hooks are bigger than most for better hooksets.they are also the sharpest i have seen.

Ditto They also work well for saltwater applications. Yes they rust faster, but I lose them before the rust is ever a issue, good strong hooks, and sharp too. I'm gonna have to give him some more money before long

Spot Remover Pro Model is the style that I forgot the name of, best IMO. Whacked a bunch of fish from a couple small inland lakes this weekend to Lake St. Clair last weekend on this. It is the real deal for me.
Since I was running out of the Gulp worms I tried some Roboworms FX Series and MMIB trick worms, fish on all of them. |

I've only throw a shakey head worm a few times this year, I should do it more, but it's hard to put the crank down
