the pond i fish in has a lot of green slimy algea i think and then it also has some sort of grass on the bottom that covers the entire lake. how do i fish this? i started really bass fishing last fall there and had good success in one of the coves with a zoom trick worm texas rigged. would yall give me suggestions on how to fish this and with what lures?. the lake is lightly stained with a greenish tint to it.the deepest water is about 15 feet. i fish from the bank.thanks!

horny toad dragged on top of that algea mat. I have the same thing going on in my pond. And where the algea mat ends fish that line there.

i never tryed this before but i see all the pros use the scum frog thing or mouses, just reeling them back to you after casting or you can make go side to side , faster slower , i dunno if they well work from your bank ,but i no they work on scum or weeds on the top of water and are pretty much weedles

Weightless lizard, or a fluke twitched through the weeds. Try to stay away from the real slimey stuff the fish do most of the time, it can get on there gills and kill them. Don't mistake my comments to mean you won't catch fish close to the slimey stuff, I would just target areas that don't have it all over. If it's all over, there should be a depth that it isn't as prelevant.
