Default set ups

My go to rod is a "Tactical Assault" 6'6" hvy worm/jig rod. I use a Curado on it with 15 lb P-line. Used for pitching jigs.

My spinning rod is a "Tactical Assault" drop shot rod. This rod is 6'6" with a Stradic 2500. Line is 8 lb P-line. This set up works great with grubs, tubes and drop shots.

In fact, I am planning on getting another baitcasting setup, but instead of a 6'6'' rod, I was thinking about 6'10'' or even 7' (Clarus of course, maybe Crucial); Can you tell, I'm a big Shimano fan, for some reason ... But everyone, including yourself, keeps mentioning Airrus, so I need to look into that..

Yes I am a big shimano fan myself. But if you ever pick up and fish with a airrus your shimano rods will probably become backseat rods. Sensitive, light, actions like you would never beleive. A medium action rod has a TRUE 50/50 action, a MH rod has a true 75/25 action and a H action has a TRUE I would say 90/10 action. All the above and a lifetime over the counter replacement gurantee ifn you break it. They do cost more but you get what you pay for. The Co-Matrix sells for 90 in most places, The Spectra AFT sells for 150 , the Ultra XL sells for 160 and of course there entry level Centurion sells for 70. Right now I have 4 ........1 of the Co-Matrix and 3 of the Ultra XL. And gonna get more as money permits.
