Same for me! Pre Spawn is my favorite. Throwing a jerkbait and flipping a jig. Doesn't get any better.

Oh, her? Awwwww, that's Sister Trixie, the Mother Superior from the convent across the lake; Our Lady Of Perpetual Whoopee. Whenever she sees me on the lake on a Friday, she swims out and, ummm, "barters" for fish so she and her sisters can observe the ancient Catholic dietary proscription against eating meat on Friday and still enjoy some nice chow.

About that slight bulge in her tummy...It was an immaculate conception...I swear! But I did say ten Hail Marys (the last one was kinda loud) and tucked...I mean PUT 50 bux in her biki...I mean the poor box.

Have agree with zook!!! That's my kind of water to. Being a River Rat & all. I love flooded muddy conditions the most. It's neat not knowing when you toss in the line what happens next.

I like whatever conditions are available when I have as much time as I want to fish. I'm usually under some kind of time constraint.

I love fishing remote ponds or stretches of river that others can't or won't get to....

And being frozen in all winter I love the first warm, prespawn days of spring!
