Question Rod Building - Blanks

To all you builders out there... I am really leaning towards trying to build my next stick vs. buying one. Do you have a favorite blank supplier?

Depending on how much you want to spend, there are a couple I'd buy.

1. If you can still find them, G.Loomis. I think Net Craft still has them. I think the IMX is the best value for the money.

2. Phenix Rods sell their blanks on their website. I've never used one, but heard thay are good.

3. Rainshadow makes good, and very affordable blanks. My crankbait rod is one of theirs, and my dad has a spinning rods he built on a rainshadow blank. I really like both of the rods.

I'm very interested in seeing what some of the other rod builders on here think.
