Default Pics of Personal Record Bass

Went out to some private lakes 6/ 30 and 7/01 with my friend James. He started off the mourning with his personal record 7 lbs 4 oz.

We managed some respectable 3-5 lb bass among the 60+ we caught.

But then, I had a mighty tug on a small 6" worm. The bass jumped and my heart stopped. I threw the trolling motor in full reverse and battled her out of the cat tails. Finally getting a grip on the largest bucketmouth I've ever caught -8 lbs 13 ozs.

I've checked this scale against a postal scale, and found it to weigh 1 oz less at 10 lbs.

Capped the day off with one 7 lbs 5 ozs.

Congrats Bman. Always thrilling to beat your personal best, and with a Hawg to boot.

I do guide on these (4) private lakes. If you are ever going to be down in the Tampa Bay area, give me a call! 813-817-5499.

Well what was that about. And if you have a lake in Illinois that has bigger bass than Florida, it would be overfished in 1 weekend. I don't get the comment or the statement, but to each his own.
