Darnit!
Broke about 3" off the tip of my Flacon Low Rider today while unloading it from my canoe. It's not my new one; I got it last Summer, but I still loved it as a spinnerbait rod. I don't think it came with a warranty, or I didn't send it in...
What should I do? The site said it would be at least $20 for shipping/handling, then probably another $50 for fixing it. Thats $70 right there, and it's only a $110 rod! Think I should buy a new one? -Buzz |

I've done that a few times over the years. It works, it just makes the action of the rod a little heavier.

I think I'm just going to go to my local tackle shop. have them sand it, put a new end eyrelt on it, and be done with it. Will it still be good if the last two eyelets are olly about three inches apart?

you really could fix this with an expoxy and a eyelet yourself, fora couple of bucks, plus the two being 3 inches is no biggie

ok, let's get our minds out of the gutters. I agree with C-Rig. If you're having this many troubles before all the ice thaws, I think you may want to give up fishing before summer!

you need to be more careful when you're putting nanners in peoples' boats. 1. so you don't get caught, 2. so you get the right boat, an 3. so you don't leave a nanner trail!
