Default Ranger trailers hubs

I have the hub/bearings that are oil lubed. Rig purchased in 05 new and about 1200 miles per season since purchase. I have had no problems, but with winter storage approaching, should I consider some sort of maintenance or cleaning or checking the seals? The color of the oil still looks good, but I honestly almost forget about them until I am in the middle of nowhere. By the time I am back home they are already out of my mind. Thanks for any suggestions.
