Power Pro
Has anyone used the Power Pro super slick? I recently just put 20# on my new Curado, and after a few casts it started to look beat up and loose on the spool. A couple casts later and I had the biggest bird's nest of my life, I had to put the rod down til I got home. It took about an hour to cut out the line, biggest pain ever. I normally use the regular power pro and I have it on a majority of my set ups, went and got a new box yesterday and put it on the same reel and I works perfectly fine.

I haven't used it but I never was a big fan of Power Pro. I really am not a fan of braid for that matter but I still use it when I need to, and I really like Sufix Performance Braid. Hopefully this spool will be better than the last one.

You got me stumped. Are you accustomed to fishing with regular 20# power pro? Many folks have trouble dealing with how thin it is on casting reels. That is my best guess other than thinking its handling traits are truly different from regular power pro.

That's why they call it super slick
That is the bad rap on the line. It birdnests terrible. You have to make sure it is tight on the spool all the time and that's not acceptable. I won't buy any. As for Power Pro original, that is all I use.

Haven't tried it, but have been using regular Powerpro for years and have no complaints at all. I may try Suffix braid based on Keithdog's and Bama's recommendation.
