Default Falcon Expert rods

I thought Falcon came out with a new designed Expert last year, split grips and all.

Checked the site but no Experts to be found.

are these rods being sold?

thanks,

I believe the Experts have been completely discontinued. You can still find them around at certain places who have stock.

IMO, the Cara's are just as good, and slightly cheaper than the old Experts.

That's disappointing to hear. I have one of the older models and it is one of my favorite rods. When they brought out the new one it was A LOT more expensive but I was still considering another one. They must not have sold too well since they we priced so high.

thanks, guys. Im wondering about this because I have a few Experts, and I thought about upgrading to the split grips, the new models. But when I looked at the Falcon site, the Experts were nowhere to be seen.

I remember when the new models were coming out, they were featured on Tackle Tour and at that time, the company was deciding to put EVA foam or cork for the handles.

Oh well, I guess it's eBay or go Cara.
