Getting Involved
Once I get to know what I'm doing a little better, or even now, I'd like to get more involved in bass fishing. Maybe asking companies if I could do field tests for them? What would you recommend I do to get more involved in bass fishing?
Are there any local tournaments that you can enter for free or some kind of club? Any info would be appreciated, Thanks |

My local park runs annual tournement for kids every summer, which is a good thing to help get kids involved in fishing. I havent fished any club tournaments, so i cant help you on that. If you want to ask for feild testing, you need to email em with pictures of the bass you have caught, and alot of details on where you will be fishing them. I have had many companies send me stuff by doing this. Good luck!

if you have any boat houses or marinas or anywhere they sell new boats, go in and ask the owners if they know about any youth tournies..the reason being, many bass clubs hit up boat retail and tackle outlets for freebie gifts donated for prizes to the youth tourney.
