Ky lake 361 and rising,359 is summer pool and july on it goes down not up.
Spilling until further notice,148,000 cfs,toss a 1/2 oz jig in front by the time it falls 18 ft behind the boat.
Daylillys are drowning,cantilope vines withering,ducks and tree frogs however are quite happy.
cant get to the hydrilla,so flip to newly submerged fescue and johnsongrass lol it does work.

Everything around here has been full/out of the banks since winter and still rising. One of the upsides of a spring-summer with really high water won't be obvious until 2015-2016 and beyond. A hugely successful year class of bass, most years less than 2-3% of hatchlings (in most places) survive their first year. High water/flooded banks/lush veggies can mean 10% or better.

On another note....

June here was the wettest on record - just under 11" for the month. Reservoirs are high and fishing in the trees is something we don't see often. My goretex raingear is proving it's worth, and now that I am allowed to water my grass... I don't have too!

I got a buddy that lives a couple towns over, the area is a good bit lower than here in Fayetteville. He called and asked me last night how to mow the hydrilla in his yard. lol

yesterday i think was the first FULL day that it didn't rain some. not complaining cause there has been years of little to no rain starting in june. although it DOES make yard work rough. lol!!
