Floating Worms
We went fishing today in Taylor Bay. Caught 9 kepper bass on floating worms. Came back out through the canal, tied on a couple of stretch elevens and picked up 4 keeper strippers for supper tomorrow. The wife is going to make some corn bread and coleslaw, and I am going to be in hawg heaven tomorrow. happy fishing.

RS, is it a worm that really "floats"? I use that rig with a Trick Worm-usually pink. It doesn't float as such, but the rapid way I work it keeps it on the surface. The only worms I have found that really float are the 3X baits, and they have a few drawbacks. If the Edge worms really float I'll have to give them a look.

Thanks, RS. I think we fish them the same way-swivel up the line and real quick retrieve. I didn't think you were referring to 3X baits. I've bought worms called floating worms in the past but they didn't float-they sank slowly. Fishing them fast keeps them on the top. Good fish catcher regardless.
