Default Smallie/Largie Pic

Went (2-14-06)to Lake Berryessa today with my best fishin partner...My Dad.
We caught a few good fish. Water was clear as i have seen any waters around here in a long time. 10 ft of visability and about 52 degree water. Air temps was around 65-68. Found really steep rock walls/bluffs. found fish everywhere we went. Got fish crankin(2) dropshottin(5) senko(4) and tubes(3). We had a total of 14 fish. (I caught 11 of those) However my dad got the SIZE. He started out the mornin with a 3.42 LM on a blade. I got the rest of the fish for the day till the very end. I hit for the cycle today as well....We call it that when you get a Smallie, LM and Spotted in same day. I had a 5 fish limit for about 11 lbs. All fish were in the solid 2 lb range. Back to later in the day. i was about 10 yds away from my dad and he tosses a senko on a bluff that went 15 straight down, ledge and another 30 ft. It falls for about 5 seconds and he sets the hook and drag goes screaming out and after a 2 minute battle he got his biggest bass of '06...8.14 lbs. Congrats Dad!!!! Take a family member/friend out fishin its really worth it!!!!!

Beautiful fish, Deacon! Awesome looking place to fish, too. Wish we had water that calm down here-wind was strong enough to blow the hair off a dog today.
