2008 PB's
New PB's set in 2008:
SM - 3lb 2oz (16.5") LM - 4lb 0oz (19.5") Both caught during the same outing during early July in about 8 feet of water using a 7" Yamasenko -- Watermelon with lg black, sm red flakes. Last year was my first time using senkos and I had great results with the Yamasenkos. And another 4.0 LM in October to match my record. And while fishing from the dock of our new lake property over Labor Day weekend, I was throwing a buzzbait in about 6 feet of water and landed a new PB for walleye also - 26.5", 6lb 6oz. Just a little over 3 months until I can get out and start the 2009 season! P.S. - All fish were released. |

Congrats on the PBs. I would say between 5-6# for me for '08. I never have a scale with me. The bass are starting the bed though at the state lakes where I live, at least that is what my informant passed on to me. And my goal is to bust a double digit this year. I've got close a couple of times, but just couldn't bust out of the 8s & 9s.

Congrats on the nice fish!!
I wish I had pics of my pb of 08! But any way, I think my pb large mouth only like 4lbs, I've already up graded this year to 6.24lbs, my pb blue gill was like 1.5lbs though!

The state record LM here in MN is 8-15, so I won't be hitting double digits any time soon! We'd be ecstatic to land a 5 pounder, though, since 4-10 is the biggest between my buddy and me over the 10 years we've fished the lake we're on in Central, MN. Anything over 3 is a hawg in our books.
