What Christmas song...
Is your favorite? I know I won't be home until after Christmas, so I have been entertaining the guy in the office with me some of my favorites the past couple of days. I could listen to God Rest Ye Merry Gentle Men, Blue Christmas, Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree all day hahahaha.

I'll be home for Christmas.
For me, it brings memories, both good and bad, of years that I was away for Christmas. Each time I hear it, I am all the more grateful to be home for this one.

Weird you would bring this up Garey. Every year somewhere after Thanksgiving, I get out my Vincent Guaraldi CD and plop it in my truck player. It usually doesn't come out until after New Years.
If you don't know who he is, he's the piano player (he never referred to himself as a "pianist"...but always a "piano player") who did the soundtracks to the Peanuts cartoons. Damn, what a musician he was. http://www.vinceguaraldi.com/

My favorite Christmas songs are the ones they don't start playing before Thanksgiving...

Silent Night is still my favorite. I have to agree with you John about The Little Drummer Boy by Bing and Bowie. Great version! I enjoy ANY Christmas song sang by Nat King Cole. And the Josh Groben christmas CD is really good.

Me and the boys were listening to the Christmas Station, I think 23 or 24 on XM before I left home. Just FYI to the XM people.

As far as the classics go I guess that Silent Night is probably my favorite. But here is a pretty good Christmas song too http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pwoje...eature=related
