Default Weekly Lake Fork Report from Guide Jim Reaneau

Well, the water has dropped about 3 or 4 degrees and the fish have moved back a little. The Fishing has been good but places have been important. Look out in 5 to 10 foot to find the fish. The first break back. Texas rigs have been good along the light weight Carolina rig. The wacky worm has been productive. The Lake Fork Tackle Twitch worm has been very good. The new Finesse worm fished on a small jig head on light line has been very good. The wave Tiki stick has been good fished wacky and Texas rigged. Lizards fished Texas rigged have been very productive. Small crank baits fish in the timber and around stumps has been good for some really good fish. The water is in the upper 50’s to low 60’s. The water needs to get consistent to get a good bite. On the windy days the spinner bait and buzz bait have been good.
I still have some dates open in April if you are looking to book a trip to fork give me a call.
