Boat motor
I have a yamaha 2hp motor it has 100 to 1 writen on it.But i read were thats not a good idea you should put 50 to 1 in it.So whats the case on that.

What year?
I know the OMC motors from the 80s were labeled 100:1 and OMC had to recall that and recommend 50:1, but I'm not sure about Yammies.

don't know about that motor specifically but i would still say 50:1.

I am sure 50:1 will work just fine on that "1 Lunger". Most chain saws, weed trimmers and the like are about the same thing and most of them run fine on 50:1.
