Default hey doing some trades on Cl, is this a good crankin rod

guy has more stuff, starting to think he robbed a bp, truck lol. anyway its a croix triumph(sp) 7 medium casting, if i put this on 6 gear ratio reel, woudl if be good for lipless and billed cranks.

It's not Ryan (rrw4258) is it?

That sounds like a good setup. I don't know anything specifically about the Triumph rod, but a medium power rod and a fairly fast reel like you're talking about (6.x:1) is about right for treble hook baits.

i dont know, all i know is it is odd, bought 2 curados and a dawia ballsitic rod for next to nothing. few un-opened bag on senkos and some rapalas, dude is young around my age and has a stock=pile in he apartment.. though he wont part with his loomis's or some of his higher up avid croix rods.

all i can say is i am stretched on the wallet, but he will hold it for me

For me, i like using crankbaits with a 5:X:3 and lipless cranks with a 6:X:1 so i think that would be a good setup, sounds like a good deal!
