Alot of good named brands have baitcasters for 39.00 bucks, and they do the job.
I have a abu garcia, and a ambassader and also a diawa for starters till I found out what style worked best for me, I spend 25-40 bucks for each one. If ya look online or at walmart you'll see the price range, most brands are respectable to any angler.. |

Heard good things about rhino baitcasters. Pay attention to BPS sales, they throw some out fairly cheap.

Was lookin at a ambassaduer Low profile the other day at wally world and I was kinda impressed with the quality of the reel. It was markd at 39.95 4 ball bearings. The numbers on the reel I dont remember but it was in a blister pack. Like previous posts stay with the name brands and you cant hardly go wrong ambassaduer, shimano, quantum, some like daiwa.

I have a Rhino RBC300, It is the version you can buy at Walmart & Kmart.
I do have a problem with it. I cannot get it dialed in. No matter how I have the spool control I have to have the brakes on 10. When it is not on 10 I get some nasty backlashes. But I got it set up with the brakes all the way up. I think it is worth the 35 bucks. It is light. match it to a light rod and you got something cool. -Chris

Try Sports Authority (jersey) Same store different names in different states, check the net for what the store is called in your state. We are redoing almost all of the fishing departments in all the states and are clearing out many many items, between now and the new year. In my store I have rhino reels for about 10 or 20 dollars. Shinamo for 10 to 40. Lures, plastics hooks and such from 50 cents on up.
