Fishing NE Mississippi Lakes
Does anyone have any advice on fishing the three lakes on the tombigbee waterway ( Pickwick, Bay Springs, Aberdeen Lake)? I would like to fish them this fall and spring, especially Aberdeen lake.

I know nothing about any of those lakes, but Pickwick is one of the best smallmouth lakes in the country. It's big and it's deep, so you need to learn it in order to catch fish, but there's monsters in it.

I've only been to Pickwick a few times and to Bay Springs once. I have never been there this time of year so I don't have a clue. I do think Pickwick is one of my favorite lakes though, I've always done fairly well there. I also really liked the clear water of Bay Springs, but I was only there for a few hours this summer. I'll try to dig up some more information and let you know.

I only fished Bay Springs once. Caught a couple that were feeding on shad in shallow water. Didnt do any good at pickwick this fall but had a blast in early June. Im going to try Aberdeen lake Sat.
