If you find some please let me know. Plenty to do if you've got a boat though.

A big city like that. Get a daughter, neice, or any relatives kid and go door to door with them in the neighbor hood selling cookies and hit them up after the sale. With the all the lake communities, you gotta hit something. I never done it but don't put it pass me.

False River is not far from BR. and the fishing is awesome day and night. I fished a couple of lakes off of Oneal lane as well. They are in subdivisions, but never had any issues fishing them.

I have friends in Lake Park. It's seen alot of pressure. I've fished it a good bit and only caught 2 fish, one of which was bedding. You can see fich in the water but they are unintrested in artificial lures.

False River is my weekly go to spot. Been a bit slow lately with us averaging 3 or 4 fish per person per 12 hours on the water. You can fish from the public landings there and you will catch fish but its alot more fun on a boat.

I just rem. you turn by a sonic and its past walmart. Another is white oak landing, which is near oneal. The blue bar at false river is a good place to start your day. When fish are under pressure throw something outside the norms. Caught the bass in my pic on a pink trick worm at the city lake here. When 7.5lbs.

Yea, I fish the lake park lake alot. It's hard for me to go on the river without a boat. I used to fish the Diversion canal alot when I lived in Gonzales, but sense we bought the house over here I havent had a chance to call my buddy for a fishing trip out there. My buddy Mike fishes the LSU lakes, and also a few other lakes around town. I need to catch up with him more and take him up on his offers. But were both waiting for a boat so we can fish out at this State Parks.

LSU lakes can be fun. Don't eat any fish you catch from them.
