How to tie the winner of "Knot Wars" the Fish-N-Fool knot
Hi guys, I have had a lot of people that did not understand how to hold and tie the Fish-N-Fool knot and ask for a video on how to tie it, so here you go. This should clear up any missunderstandings about how the knot is tied. First in part one I show how tie tie the knot in a large scale with a monster hook and a 1/8" rope.
Then in part two I show how to tie it with a normal hook and 20 lb braid. Part 1 Part 2

All right! Congrats on the knot!
I'll try it, but until further notice, the Palomar is my go-to!

For those of you that are "Polymar" guys, I too was a Polymar guy until this knot came along.
ESPECIALLY Fishing with Flourocarbon this is THE Knot to use and you can't argue with facts. This knot is the strongest knot among all of the knots.

Mumpy, do you use this knot with Fluorocarbon? I tried fluoro with the palomar knot and broke 1 out of 5 knots on the hookset. Have you had good luck with it? Thanks Shane

Check out the San Diego knot if you're breaking fluoro with the Palomar. I don't know if they've done a head to head with the San Diego and FnF knots???

Yes Skeeter, I use this knot for Flourocarbon. I feel it's the best knot you can tie with Flourocarbon line. there seems to be no binding point when you tie the knot. I found with the Polymar and Flouro there's a binding point when you tighten it, Unless you tie the Poly Knot very loosely until the very point of tightening it.
