Default Riverhill Fly Report 4-9-07

Went for about 2 hours today and had the best fly fishing day of my life.. Started out with 1 dink of 5 inches,

then a rock bass that got hit by a 5+ pound bass as i was bringing it in You may be able to see the injurys on him if you look close enough...

then this 11 inch Crappie exploded my streamer, fought pretty good.

After this, I come to a small "swampy" area that I have fished many times before with NO luck, not even seeing a bass or bluegill. Well, hat spot is one of my favorites now.

5 minutes later this bass hits, a little smaller.

Got late and had to head home, but I will be back to this spot for sure

I like catching those Warmouths...they hit just about everything and they're some stout fighters on light line. Good job on those fish!

Nice Texasbasser. It must be nice fishing in Texas. It's like you catch a 3-4 pounder on a fly rod like nothing, and I have to fish forever just to catch a 3 pounder.

And islandflyfisher, that is a strange bass.
