Default Rapala Jointed Shad Raps

I own many different colors of the Rapala Jointed Shad Raps... I belive the 2" long ones...

Has anyone had success with these lures... Should I go bigger?

If you like those you need a few rapala jointed top water stick baits, they are long like a jerk bait but a really great top water lure.

I agree with JB. That Jointed minnow is my go-to. I have had success on the jointed shad rap. Crank it down pretty fast so it gets down deeper then let it sit for maybe 3-4 seconds. Start a slow retrieve and give it pauses. All but one fish took it while it was just sitting there, the one other fish took it when i bounced it off a rock.

I have that same exact jointed one in that color. Havent had any luck with it but have barely used it, and when I used it I was at a bad lake. I use the floating minnow alot, and it works great for bass. Get the smallest on, and you can catch nice size perch with it.

I picked fire-tiger because chartreuse/red mixes work well where I fish.

get a silver one and a gold one. use the silver one during sunny days and the gold one during low-light conditions.

Silver/Black one for sunny days, Gold/Black for overcast and low-light. Firetiger is good if the water has limited visibility but Black/silver has produced the most for me.
