The laminated series is one color on the top and one on the bottom:

Tiki offers 4 variances:

Orginal: Solid colors
Laminate: Two tone
Dip: Tail colored differently from body
Swirl: Two tone but swirled thru-out body.

They also get VERY sticky after they have been in the water for a while-they get all balled up on the hook with the look and consistancy of a gummy bear. That's why WalMart is clearing them out-they are almost unusable after they have been in the water a little while.

I guess I could do this myself, just lazy. Can you pinch the Tiki's and have them change colors somewhat? On the Senko's and Yum Dinger's if you pinch the tails they usually will lighten up quite a bit. I'm sure it has to do with the salt content, just wondering if the Tiki's do the same.

Lizards:
I don't know the answer to that one. 50 years of bass fishing and I've never owned or fished a Tiki Stick. I do fish the Zoom, Bass Assasin and in particular the Strike King 3X Ztoo flukes. I probably love these as much as a lot of these people on this site love their "Sticks". I fish them weightless in the thickest slop I can find. I fish the "pearl" color 90% of the time because they're easy to control visually and the fish love them.

Great to see that there´s another "old school" old fishing fart just like me , don´t know what the hype is all about, I have 5 packs of senkos in 5 colors and rarely use them, haven´t seen much difference in the ammount of fish I catch with them or with other baits.

fish get used to baits that are the same shape and size and if you over fish them with just that kind of bait they'll stop taking em.

I've been fishing for as many years. I posted last week that me and my friend went fishing , and I used the Tiki and he used the culprit, and we both caught the same amount of fish. Some one else posted that I probably wasn't fishing it right or putting it into the right places. I made no comment to that statement, but did say we wrere going to try it again. We did and no difference in one over the other. I will stick with the culprit, it's less expensive.

My friend probably is a better fishermsn than I. But we did go back and fish the same place. This time I used the culprit and he the tiki. The same results as before, same size fish an both baits. When I said culprits were less expensive, that is you can catch more fish on a culprit and they last longer. And you are right, the tiki is verry much over rated.

Kh! I remember back 10 or 12 years when the gitzit cam out and it was verry popular, one of the pros was using it and won the classic. That thing sold like pancakes at IHOP. I got some, and they did catch fish. But i discovered later on why people were catching fish with the gitzit, was that was all they were using. But it fizzled out. I have a bunch of them that 've had for years, I seldom use them, because they are no better than any other jig out their. Same with the Tiki. Well so much for that. You have a good day fishing.

I'm sorry, I just can't believe they are over-rated or "done in" now. I can catch fish after fish after fish and can even catch the same fish up to 3 times from the same spot on a Tiki when I can't catch anything on spinners, other plastics, cranks, topwater, anything I have that I can throw at a particular situation.
