Yeah I was sick to hear of his passing today. One of the best shows ever.

Yeah, I can't imagine just how many afterschool half hours I spent in Mayberry. He sure was a funny guy.

Same here, when it wasn't baseball season I would come straight home after school and watch the Andy Griffith Show. Until they got to the colored episodes and then I would watch M.A.S.H. instead until they started over with the black and whites. In fact we have a few Andy Griffith DVDs in the break room at work and they are watched daily LOL.

THE ANDY GRIFFITH SHOW, I LOVE LUCY, GOMER PYLE USMC, HOGANDS HEROS. GILLIGANS ISLAND........TRULY THE GREATEST TIME OF TV.


i can see andy and barny and goober sitting on the front poarch after eating aunt beas suppa...yes SUPPA. andy pickin on his guitar, barn and goob singing along. aunt bea snapping those beans........ GOD BLESS THEM ALL. only gomer and opie are left i think. besides andy and barns girlfriends/wives.

i am from NC, and it was real big, hear, i love the show, but i heard from people who knew him and well to many people, he wasnt the greatest guy in person, though he will be missed
