I remember when I first started bass fishing, I had no idea what to do, so I used nightcrawlers... I would cast into the lake/pond, and just sit there holding my rod and wait for bites... Pretty soon, the only thing that were biting were bluegills and catfishes, but mostly bluegills. Pretty simple and it still works for me... My GF still uses this method when we go fishing cause she hates using lures and stuff and she catches bluegills, while i go for bass... Well, Good Luck and hope this helps..

Worms are the easiest for me as well. I also catch some on rooster tails...white seems to work best for me.

Any kind of small bait hook with hot dog, compressed bread, or bacon. If you want to try lures, use top water popers and flies.

I'm with Mr. Griffin mate. Hook, bobber and a worm play around with your depth.
