Post What Kind Of Boat?

I want to get a small personal boat that holds up to 3 people.
I want it small so that I can go in the grassy areas without any hastle.
What boat is like that and is affordable?

Sounds like a simple Jon Boat would be right up your alley. Can be outfitted w/ small outboard if needed, a TM will move it around just fine also. Can also be toted in P/U truck or on the rooftop of most vehicles.

I don't have any problem with taking a big boat in the grass, just fire that sucker up and run it like you stole it in there. TM will get you out, or just fire it back up and run out!! As long as you can keep water pressure you GTG!! I run right in the mats on the Potomac with mine!! But I'll take mine anywhere if I think there are fish in there.

STEVE,
look at the Coleman "Crawdad". It is a jon type boat, fairly inexpensive, and will hold 3 but it will be crowded, can be hauled in a pickup bed, made of high impact plactic so it is fairly tough.
