2 Cold Days.. 2 Warm Days
I've been hitting the water lately on a warm front day, sometimes 10-20 degrees warmer than the previous two days of cold temps, and have noticed that each time, the fish have not moved up shallow to feed. And the only bites I am getting are in deeper 10+ feet of water, and few bites at all. I was under the impression that most of the time when there is a warm day after some cold days, the fish this time of year will move shallow and feed as the top layer of water warms. Is this right?
What is going on with these fish and why are they still deep? Thanks. |
