Default Old troller croaked.....thrust minimum???

I have an old '90 19 foot Ranger that had a 108 lb thrust 36 volt monster on it. Monster died. I don't think I need that much thrust, I seldom fish on large bodies of water where the waves and wind are huge issues. I am looking at 80 lb thrust 24v models by both Minnkota and Motorguide......I also see some that are 24 volt with only 60-70 lb thrust. Would I regret getting less than 80 lb. for my size and style boat?? Has anybody had great luck or terrible luck with any of the previously mentioned style trollers??
