Default fishing barge

Hey guys, I need to pick your brain about something. I'm new to boating and fishing, so new that I havent' yet purchased a boat, although i hope to remedy that within the next week or so. At first I was going to buy a G3 pf 175 with a 75 4 stroke. Demo'ed the boat last weekend, liked it fine, but there are issues.. I'm dealing with a leg I broke 2 years ago that has a plate and 8 screws in it, so getting in and out, as well as moving around in a boat bobbing up and down was making me uncomfortable, although i loved running it down the river. My wife suggested a party barge. We're currently considering an 18 or 20 footer that is rigged for fishing (g3 188f or the g3 208f ) but I have no knowledge about these types of boats.. Are they high maintenace, hard to put in or take out of the lake? I sure could use some advice from you guys that have been doing this for years... oh, before I go, I know I said i was looking at G3 pontoons, but what do you guys think of Sun Trackers? thanks for your help.

get the g3 everything is hand welded..the decks are bolted down and the carpets are done excatly like a bass boat carpet-glued..the pontoons are foam filled

trackers are machine welded decks are dropped in held down with a few screws. the carpet is tacked in..empty pontoons...

i rather pay the extra bucks for a ride i know was build to last...

belive me if g3 brings back the hp series jon boats i would buy one -still want too see a excell up close..
