Some advice
Hi, I'm in the market to buy a used bass boat. I've been looking at one recently and I want some advice on whether or not it's a good deal.
It's a 1993 Astro, 17 foot w/ 115 mercury, in great shape. Everything works, no problems. Owner is asking 4000. This will be my first boat and I've been looking around recently and it seems like a good deal, but I'm not very knowledgeable on them. Any help is appreciated! Here's a picture-

seems decent priced.astro being called "procraft" now
how ever i would demand to have it taken to a repair shop -on your dime- and have the repair shop test for compression and leak down test..before any money is exchanged...a couple hundred bucks before your buy it might save you from having to dump several thousand -around 5k+-for a new moter.. if the owner refuses he knows there is big issues and you walk away money intact... my buddy has a 92 model astro..nice boat... zooker
