Mental health day

Took a half day today to get out on the water and prefish for upcoming tournament. Reason for taking a personal day at work.....mental health. Works every time and keeps 'em guessing

Found a lot of little bass shallow along with bluegill, crappie, catfish, carp, turtles, one otter or very large muskrat. What I didn't find was big male bass locked on beds or big mama. Thought they'd be up and ready to go for this weekends full or new moon. Oh well. Just going to have to get out and fish some more this weekend.........

Friend of mine used to get out of work (USPS) on Sundays by claiming he was in church. He even had a reverend friend write a letter to his supervisors from the "Church of the Potomac" stating that he was indeed at "church" every weekend.

i get 6 weeks off a year for vacation, company holidays, and personal hours, so its pretty easy to go out when I hear the are snappin'

man ..... ya'll are like....so got it made. my boss is an @#$hole. had to take the wife to see her kidny specialist once and instead of family sick leave (wich i had plenty of) he made me take a vacation day. but i am thinking of calling in tomorrow. to heck with that som-a-gum!!!

That's Funny!!! I told our GM that I was taking a half day "mental health" day today myself. I'm getting ready to leave the office and hit Chesdin for our tourney tomorrow. Meeting my brother at the lake. You need those mental health days once in a while!!!

Thanks... but I've decided not to fish the tourney (Still going out though). Didn't find enough to make it worth the entry fee. Only found one nice 3+ and a bunch of 1 to 1.5's up shallow. Not enough fish to catch 15+ I'd expect to place in the money.

Let me know if you find them shallow on Chesdin.

well i didn't call in today. i went to work today. of course i cursed all day, lmao. told myself i was stupid to come in on such a beautiful day. now the wind is kicking up and rain is coming. i don't care, going anyway, hahahaha.
